Associate attorney engaged in all facets of civil litigation across a diverse docket, including commercial motor carrier and personal lines automobile defense. Mr. Ortega has coordinated and led investigations in emergency response scenarios of accidents including coordinating evidence preservation, expert retention, and root cause analysis. Mr. Ortega has provided support in catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters including all facets of jury research such as focus groups, mock trials and actual trials in both federal and state court. Mr. Ortega supports trial teams in legal writing, written discovery and demonstrative evidence preparation.
Mr. Ortega is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and Texas Tech University School of Law. While at UTEP, Mr. Ortega was a member of the Men’s Varsity Track and Field team. Mr. Ortega competed in the broad jump and 4×400 relay team and competed nationally for UTEP in Conference USA.
